1916 4034 30-06.jpg

The above item is a First Model 1916 Newton rifle serial number 4034 (30-06), the second highest I have on record of over 500 Newton rifles. It is a mixed number rifle probably put together by the Receiver or the Newton Arms Corporation after Charles Newton left the factory. There are four different serial numbers on the rifle. Overall it is an 80-85% rifle. There is blue wear on the floor plate and top of the receiver. The barrel has most of the blue. The bore is excellent. There are NO cracks in the stock. The right side of the receiver has four holes in the area that a receiver sight would be mounted. They have been filled. The rear sight is missing the folding leaf. The rifle will be accompanied with a letter referring to its inclusion in the next Newton Rifle book and a copy of the book .If you have serious interest, email me for more detailed pictures………………………………..$1325
